What to do with all my exercise video tapes?

We were cleaning out the garage this past weekend when my husband found a box full of exercise videos, bands and hand weights. I haven’t used any of these for a long time…obviously if they were stuffed into a dusty box on a shelf in the garage.

But, I couldn’t bring myself to toss them. When my husband asked me about them, I said, “So that’s where they’ve been. I need these tapes, I’ve missed them!”

My VCR barely works and we haven’t used it for anything for more than a year or two. But I started thinking about how much I’d paid for these and most of them were well used. I kinda felt like I’d run into old friends and wanted to resume my relationship with them.

I have several FIRM exercise tapes. I’d stopped using them when I injured my ankle and couldn’t walk for several weeks. There’s also Pilates, Yoga and other big name exercise guru’s. About 20 video tapes. I don’t want to spend the money to replace them with DVD’s. I just know that as soon as I do that, they’ll come out with the newest and greatest video format and then the DVD’s won’t be any good anymore.

I think I’m going to have to see if that old VCR still works and fire up some of my exercise videos. I wonder if I can copy these to DVD’s at home. If anyone knows how I could do that, let me know. Thanks
