Here’s another one similar to the “Cancer Prevention Made Easy “ I reviewed not to long ago. Diabetes Control Made Easy starts off by telling you that you have had the biggest scam forced on you because you have diabetes.

I don’t know what to think , no that’s wrong, I do know what I think. I think these series of books are the scam! I think they’re cleverly designed to quickly part you with your money for not much of anything. I’m not even going to bother spending $47.00 to read it.

I am an alternative medicine practitioner. Check out the about me page. I really hate it when I see stuff like this. Diabetes is nothing to fool around with. Let me repeat that again – Diabetes is nothing to fool around with, ever!

This disease has terrible effects when someone doesn’t take care of it and I think if you want to read books like this - - go right ahead - - but continue with your medications and continue with your diabetic diet. Only make changes in your regime when it’s indicated such as when your blood sugars are lowered on a consistent basis.

The author’s claim that he was ‘naturally’ able to reverse his rapid race towards diabetes is most likely that he lost a lot of weight. He does state that he once weighed 300lbs. The link between weight and diabetes has been known since diabetes was first diagnosed several thousand years ago. ‘Lose that extra weight’ is always the first thing you’re told when you’re diagnosed with diabetes.

I wouldn’t assume that the medical establishment is lying me to as this man claims. Please don’t just stop what’s been working for you. Like I said earlier, I practice alternative medicine. I have told more than one patient that they were fools for not taking care of their diabetes.

Again, here’s another one “Diabetes Control Made Easy” I wouldn’t purchase.

I’m going to start pulling out my hair and go live in the mountains with the hill people! Aghhhh….I’ve tried to read up on a number of newly released books and products and just can’t get into any of them. (Yes, they spell aging with an e, maybe the author is a Brit.)

Personally, I don’t think the billion dollar medical and drug giants really care about any of us little people. They’re making money hand over fist with no end in sight. You really aren’t a threat to them. There’s no medical SWAT team that’s going to storm your house in the middle of the night, pull you rudely out of bed, make fun of you and confiscate your book.

Which picks up in “The Diabetes-Reversing Breakthrough” ……Sit down, turn off your cell phone and put the “DO NOT DISTURB” sign on the door… Read this entire letter to discover simple steps to stimulate your pancreas to produce more insulin day by day… Hear from the world’s top doctors and Nobel Prize winners and learn how to lower your blood sugar naturally and eliminate your diabetes drugs and insulin shots!’

It just goes on, you can interchange aging for diabetes in both sales letters. It looks to me like they’ve got us pegged for isolated , paranoid geeks. How much privacy does one need to read a book? If you’re taking it into the bathroom with you, by all means, please shut the door and read in privacy. I know I can read one anywhere, even on a public beach or at Starbucks. It’s not like you’re having to translate a foreign language and build a spaceship at the same time to read any of this.

I’m sure these all have very important information and will be very helpful to those in need, yet I just couldn’t get past the junk mail feel of the sales letters. You know, the stuff you read when you have nothing better to do. Where they hint at secrets that only they know and wouldn’t we like to be in on the secret too?

And all you new authors out there – do us all a favor - please, please, pleaseee …..change your sales letters because what this really makes us think . . . is that your books are all the same . . . .with the same tired old secrets ……. and the same old special information. Really now, spend some time on your sales letters – make them original. Surprise us!
