Fit Over 40

Yesterday, I was watching a video on ‘modeling’ which started me thinking about what we should be modeling in our lives. Modeling is when you copy the movements or actions of someone you admire in hopes of achieving the same thing. And I decided that a re-read of ““Fit Over 40″ was in order.

Jon Benson, the author of “Fit Over 40″ is one such person I believe you should strive to model. Jon was so out of shape and in such poor health at the age of 35, that his doctor told him if he didn’t change his ways, Jon would never live to see 40.

That was Jon’s wake-up call. He’d heard Tony Robbins say, “Role modeling is an easy shortcut to massive results fast.”

So Jon found people who had been significantly obese or sick, who managed to turn their health completely around.

He learned everything he could about what they did, and then he implemented those strategies into his own life. A great example of modeling in real life. He even got his mom to make those same changes and turned her health and life around!

In 12 months, Jon totally reversed the damage he had done to his body and literally slashed at least 10-15 years off his biological age.

I like the story of the 77 year old woman who now competes in bodybuilding contests! Another man regenerated three-quarters of necrotic and dead heart tissue!
